The best fine beer!

Evidently a pint aimed at the older drinker: one who can remember TV adverts from the 1960s. I'd have thought we'd be something of a shrinking demographic these days! Seen in Abbeyhill, Edinburgh, 22nd October, 2010.

When I was wee, there was a TV advert for McEwan's beer which included a song, which went:

"McEwan's is the best buy, the best buy, the best buy,
McEwan's is the best buy... The best buy in beer!
Aye! McEwan's! The best buy in beer!"
I was familiar with this advert for years before I discovered the words weren't 'The best fine beer'!
