EIS/STUC anti-cuts demonstration

Some photos from the first major demonstration in Edinburgh against the Tory/Liberal coalition government's draconian spending cuts, on 23rd October, 2010. My pictures don't give an impression of the scale of the demonstration, the back of which was just leaving East Market Street by the time the front-end had reached Princes Street Gardens. 20,000 attended, according to an announcement at the rally which followed. I'd have guessed it was a bit more than that.
