37 416 at Waverley Station

English Electric Type 3 (Class 37) No. 37 416 stands at the head of The Royal Scotsman landcruise train at the former Platform 10 (now Platform 7) at the east end of Waverley Station, Edinburgh, 18th September, 2004. Note the supporting girders in the station roof above the train for the old roof-level walkway that linked Calton Road with Jeffrey Street, the removal of which now requires a much longer walk to get from one side of the station to the other.
