Stagecoach-owned and -liveried Bristol Lodekka FLF reg. no. HGM 335E setting down excursion passengers at St. Andrews bus station, Fife, 27th August, 2004. This former Central SMT vehicle was one of the first buses to be acquired by the Perth-based Stagecoach company in the early 1980s. This one was built in 1967, shortly before production of the type ended following the introduction of vehicles designed for one-man operation, and it is now preserved at the Scottish Vintage Bus Museum at Lathalmond, Fife. Those are the buses I remember from my childhood, and they look like 'proper' buses to me. Now over forty years old, this example appears to have been well cared-for.
