Foggy Bruntsfield

Miniature daffodils in bloom at foggy Bruntsfield Links, Edinburgh, 25th March, 2010. I took this and the following photos with a wee forty-quid camera that I'd bought a couple of weeks previously. For spontaneous point-and-shoot snaps in very much less than ideal weather conditions, I thought the results were pretty impressive.

I got just the effect I was hoping for here, with the condensation droplets on the branches sharp against the foggy background. I wish I'd zoomed in a bit closer though. I didn't know if the camera would focus on the branches in the foreground.

Amongst my favourite tasty comestibles: smoked tofu, bought from Real Foods in Broughton Street, Edinburgh, 25th March, 2010. Unfeasibly, irresistably delicious on crusty morning rolls with some crunchy salad and a bit of salt and pepper!
