View along the Falkirk to Grangemouth line towards Fouldubs Junction and Grangemouth, Stirlingshire, 10th July, 2006. This semaphore-signalled line is now busy with freight traffic as several freight hauliers have built rail-connected warehouses in the area. WH Malcolm's shed on the left occupies the site of the former Grangemouth motive power depot. The delightful name 'Fouldubs' translates as 'stagnant pools' in English!

The large Caledonian Railway Fouldubs Junction signal box near Grangemouth on the freight-only line from Falkirk, Stirlingshire, 10th July, 2006. The box formerly controlled access to the Bainsford Branch which ran to Swing Bridge Junction, west of Falkirk Grahamston Station, and also controlled movements to and from Grangemouth MPD and various nearby loops and sidings. It now controls access to WH Malcolm's freight trans-shipment shed and a short remaining stub of the Bainsford Branch.
