Spylaw Park

On this day I cycled from St. Mary's Street to Balerno along the route of the former Balerno Branch which now forms part of the Water of Leith Walkway. On my return journey, I stopped for a rest and to enjoy the sunshine in Spylaw Park, a lovely, quiet place near Colinton on the south-western edge of Edinburgh.


Spylaw Park in Colinton on the south-western outskirts of Edinburgh, 22nd July, 2005. The park is situated by the Water of Leith and adjacent to the trackbed of the former Caledonian Railway Balerno Branch, which is now known as the Water of Leith Walkway.
